Our unique solution enables experimentation and personalization at an unparalleled scale, and it replaces traditional approaches to optimization such as A/B testing and rules-based personalization. These methods are too slow, require daily attention, and don’t automatically adapt to changes in behavior over time. Intellimize is simple to deploy and far easier to run. Plus, it is fully supported by optimization experts and web developers that guide and implement your campaigns.

The company was founded in 2016 by an experienced ad tech marketer and two experienced machine learning experts who had previously worked at Yahoo, Twitter, and BrightRoll. Intellimize is headquartered in San Mateo, CA and backed by leading early-stage investors including Addition, Amplify Partners, Homebrew, and Precursor Ventures.

Leadership Team

Guy is the CEO and co-founder of Intellimize. Prior to Intellimize, he held a number of senior marketing positions at major media and technology companies, including Vice President of Global Marketing at BrightRoll and Head of Global Product and Vertical Marketing at Twitter, as well as leadership roles at Yahoo, Microsoft, Boston Consulting Group, and Tradeweave. Guy is a recognized marketing expert who has written for various industry publications and has spoken frequently at industry conferences internationally. Guy holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University where his thesis was coding artificial intelligence for airplane design.

Jin Lim - CTO, Intellimize

Jin is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Intellimize. Prior to Intellimize, Jin held various senior engineering positions at Yahoo, including most recently the VP of Engineering role where he led the Personalization Platform group responsible for building large-scale personalized recommendations across the Yahoo network. Prior to Yahoo, Jin co-founded and sold Blue Tiger Networks, a startup that specialized in peer-to-peer trading platform. Jin has a BA in Computer Science from Cambridge University.

Brian is the Chief Architect and co-founder of Intellimize. Prior to Intellimize, Brian was a senior principal architect at Yahoo where he was actively involved in building web-scale personalized content recommendation systems for some of the company’s core properties. Brian also founded Sportasy, a fantasy sports site which was acquired by Yahoo. Brian brings 20 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale systems that produce quantitatively better results by combining humans and intelligent systems. Brian did graduate studies in Computer Science at UC San Diego and has a BS in Mathematics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

David is Vice President of Sales at Intellimize. He has been in sales leadership for over 18 years. Before joining Intellimize, David was VP of Sales at People.ai leading the sales organization to 5x growth in his first year. At Lattice Engines, David helped develop that organization into the leading predictive marketing vendor and introduced predictive lead scoring to the mainstream. Prior to that, David was on the executive teams at Demandforce and Backbase, was a Technical Sales Leader at iRise and Rational Software, and was in enterprise sales at Salesforce Marketing Cloud. David has a MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Chris is Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Intellimize. Prior to Intellimize, he held multiple leadership roles at Influitive, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer and SVP Marketing and Sales. Prior to that, he led Marketing at Xactly, Ketera, and M-Factor, with a consistent focus on sharing amazing customer stories to drive pipeline growth. Chris was inspired to tackle marketing leadership after leading Siebel Marketing’s product management teams. In his life before software, Chris was a pilot in the U.S. Navy and earned an electrical engineering degree at Rice University and an MBA at Harvard.

Erin Durfee
VP Customer Success
Erin is Vice President of Customer Success at Intellimize. She has over 15 years of post-sales management experience in professional services and customer success. Prior to joining Intellimize, Erin was a customer success leader at Salesforce. At Lattice Engines, Erin was responsible for strategic customer success and led the partnership with Dun and Bradstreet, ultimately leading to a successful acquisition. Erin began her career at Accenture delivering CRM implementations to large global organizations. Erin has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley and a Certificate of Business Excellence from the University of California, Haas School of Business. She serves on the JDRF Northern California Community Board.
