This is not a “typical” Customer Success position

You are an active strategic partner for customers, prescriptively driving ideas, strategy, and prioritization. You own the relationship. In this high-impact role, you’ll work directly with marketing leaders from major brands to help them use Intellimize’s platform to personalize their websites and generate more conversions. You’ll be able to quantify ROI for customers as we directly drive incremental revenue with them. Key benefits of this role include:

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Actively progress relationships weekly with our customers from mid market to enterprise
    • Ensure customer satisfaction – manage expectations and deliverables
    • Manage regular communications and result-sharing with clients
    • Juggle multiple priorities and get things done
    • Convert trial customers to annual contracts and renew existing customers
    • Manage executive level customers and their teams – prepare and lead quarterly business reviews
    • Align existing and new stakeholders with prioritized areas to optimize that make a meaningful revenue impact to generate ROI
    • Partner with VP Customer Success to develop and refine account strategy for each customer and execute accordingly
  • Consult with customers on Conversion Optimization
    • Shape customer conversion rate optimization strategy to focus their energy on the highest potential areas for improvement
    • Provide key recommendations for customers based on their goals
    • Help customers develop high performing ideas for personalization
    • Share industry best practices and insightful lenses on data with customers to help them come up with better ideas
    • Lead customer meetings
  • Monitor customer campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Manage regular communications with customers, sharing data, reviewing performance and addressing action items. Expect daily Slack discussions, weekly customer meetings, monthly executive updates, and quarterly business reviews
    • Identify potential issues with lower performing campaigns and take actions with customers to improve
    • Advise and influence customers with recommendations to better achieve their desired outcomes


Skills You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Strong desire and ability to own and manage an account relationship, end to end, from mid market to enterprise
  • Desire to help customers be successful according to their metrics
  • Strong empathy and persuasion in order to guide customers to think differently. Enjoys educating customers. Happy to be the expert guiding them to a great place using that knowledge
  • Sales skills. Likes to win people over.
  • Loves to learn and likes figuring out how things work
  • Good partnership and embodies customer-centricity
  • Logical, quantitative approach and thinking
  • Great listening skills
  • Project management skills – ability to manage multiple priorities and get things done
  • Strong technical aptitude – doesn’t mind getting in the weeds
  • Ability to drive a customer through a process repeatedly
  • Good judgement on how and when to escalate issues


Background & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience working with enterprise customers
  • 2-5 years of experience optimizing websites or ad campaigns preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with CRO (conversion rate optimization) techniques, best practices and pitfalls or marketing analytics, a plus
  • Track record of successfully optimizing sites/campaigns to improve conversion rate a major plus
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website design a plus
  • Bachelors required. Masters a plus. Technical degree a plus
