Overview

Intellimize helps marketers drive more conversions by automatically personalizing desktop and mobile websites for each visitor. We are looking for an experienced Content Marketer to join our fast-growing and high-performing team.

In this role, you will be the voice of Intellimize and help us tell our and customers stories across multiple channels and in multiple content formats. The ideal candidate has experience creating high-quality content that moves the needle, creating content for a B2B SaaS company, and writing for a marketing audience. The Sr Manager/Director of Content Marketing will be equal parts content strategy, ideation, content creation, project management, and promotion.

As a “content person”, you are obsessed with writing and editing your work (and other people’s work, too!). You set content strategy and are constantly thinking about what you should write next and are eager to bounce ideas off others to see what sticks. You write with purpose and with ease. You are able to distil tough or technical concepts down to clear and digestible copy that hooks the reader. Ultimately, you’re driven by knowing that your work makes a direct impact on the business, whether your work engages new leads, helps close a deal, or keeps customers excited.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be the first content marketer on the Intellimize team, helping develop a brand voice and become an industry authority in the space
  • Work cross-functionally with demand generation, product marketing, sales, product, and customer success, and outside vendors to deeply understand our product and differentiation, ideate content, and ultimately produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders
  • Continually refine our messaging as you see what works and what doesn’t. Find new ways to illustrate our differentiation and value propositions for each audience
  • Create and manage the company’s content calendar and project manage all deliverables from start to finish, with a strong attention to meeting deadlines and delivering great content
  • Own the promotion of your content over multiple channels and measure its effectiveness

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in content writing and editing for a business audience, with the ability to share published examples of your work
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing content that has directly impacted marketing metrics and engaged prospects
  • Experience creating different types of content, e.g. blog posts, eBooks, newsletters, videos, webinars, case studies, ads, social media posts, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to not only create content, but also own the ideation, project management, and promotion of content
  • Familiarity with SEO: you understand how to use keywords to drive your content strategy
  • Experience developing content for a B2B SaaS company as well as for a marketing audience
